GRAND LAUNCHING UI-ILDP Universitas Indonesia-Indonesia Leaders Development Program 2010

Today, November 20th 2010 I attended Grand Launching of UI Student Development Program - UISDP in Balai Sidang UI.
This event was created by the committees of UI ISDP to officially started the training program that will last until October 2011.
This program is basically aiming on building a leadership skill to all of the new students of UI.
It was just for Mapres or Mahasiswa Berprestasi (UI's Outstanding Students) only back then before they chose to make this program wider by choosing the new students as the participants starting from this year. So it could be call the premier episode of the UI SDP for 100 new students Class of 2010. It can be also call an "experiment" as we do not know how will it turn out in the next ten years, but it also undauntedly can be said that we are the PACEMAKER of this great idea of imprinting the leadership mind to the students in early ages.

UI Indonesia Leaders Development Program had made the selection process for us to compete about a week ago. The candidate were all from the grantees of BIDIK MISI(BM) scholarship and SERIBU ANAK BANGSA(SBA) scholarship programs. Both scholarships grantees participate in this program. For SBA grantee they chose 20 of them without any selection for ILDP, but for BM grantee the committee held a selection to short us out from 500 down to 150 in essay and CV contest and then shortened to 80 students who succeeded their way to become the participant of UI ILDP, that include me within.

In the event that was held today, there was this motivator, Mr. Arief Munandar who said that everyone in Balai Sidang UI (referring on us, 100 students) as NOT-KNOWING WHERE TO GO-YET STUDENTS from his eyeglasses. Hah. I was a bit surprised though, that means he sees no one of us -still- as a leader in this nation in the future. That statement woken us up.
But of course, that made us more highly motivated to show him that he was wrong. We, as he said, will be a leader in the future, so that in this program through UI's best program, we will build up our strenghts in order to be a qualified leader in the future.
SO YES, WE ARE READY FOR IT.

It's not a dream anymore.

Annyeonghaseyo. It is a bright morning here in September when I am writing this piece. I can't believe that it has been 6 years since the last time I wrote in my blog in 2012. So much has changed since that time. The title of this blog itself is Korean Dream which I made specifically to document my journey to Korea, as it is indeed my dreamland. In 2012 I was still studying in the University of Indonesia, I was studying so much that I didn't have time for other thing. Such as dating. Hahaha. Hallyu Madness is all i know now...

Annyeong haseyo...
