Life in Korea. Day 5: I tried Wedding Hanbok, hahaha!

Today was such a fun day! We went to Anyang to try Hanbok - Korean traditional dress :)


So at 9.00 am, just like usually, we had our Korean language class. We were talking about hobbies. And yeah, of course I was sharing stories of how I love to watch Korean drama everyday. Haha! yeah that's one of my hobbies that I like the most. Hee~

So after we finished our class we went to cafeteria to eat lunch and after that we went to Anyang to experience Hanbok!! Anyang is located close enough with Seongnam. It only take about 30 minutes by bus. Oh~ the scenery along the way there was so pretty~







Once we arrived there, we were first welcomed by the owner of the Anyang-si Manners Education Center. And we did tea ceremony. Oh~ we drank a very good tea today. The fragrant was do great! The tea means the intention of the owner to welcome all the guest that came there.


After drinking the tea, we go to other room and did Hanbok Experience~ wohoo!! There were some special Hanbok in front of us, and I saw the Wedding Hanbok from the first time I went in that room, and since I always wanted to try it on, when they asked "Who want to get marry soon?" I raised my hand so fast that everyone in the room laughed suddenly. HAHAHA! Whatever, I really wanted to try it! And because on the first question only me raised my hand, they askes again, but the second time, lots of my friends raised their hands too! Aish! so!! they decided to make us do Gawi-Bawi-Bok (Scissors-Stone-Paper), a traditional game to determine the winner by making a punch (stone), or scissors, or paper. And I won! HAHAHA!
I was one of the 6 people that will wear the special Hanbok ones, but I insisted I wanted to wear the Wedding Hanbok! And the teachers finally said yes. Yohoo!

Hi hi hi~ Korea is just fabulous for me! especially today hee~ And today's weather was really really nice ^^ This morning was not like the other morning that we start with Korean Language class but we went outside to a Studio and we learnt Taekwondo! HA! So we went to a place called Seoul Seoksa Taekwondo where the athletes and people who love Taekwondo are exercising here everyday. In this place there are not only adult athletes but children who are willing to learn Taekwondo are also welcomed. So we saw lots of kids today, not the usual one, but the really good ones in Taekwondo hahaha. We learnt Taekwondo for 2 hours. I was having so much fun!! ah!! I never knew that Taekwondo is this cool. Hee~ before, I was always hesitated to learn this sport even though it's from Korea. It's Korean thing. How I got my F-2 (Long Term Residence) VISA in South Korea! Though I was already exposed to other countries and cultures from such a young age, I never thought that someday I would be a resident - a long term resident - as they said it, in a foreign country as I live and work there. The Sudden Planning

I don't know how, but just because I have just finished tetralogy of The Rainbow Troops by Andrea Hirata and also the first book of Negeri 5 Menara trilogy by Ahmad Fuadi, it's growing more on me. The Dream. My Dream that has been here in my brain and heart for so long. I want to get a full scholarship to study in South Korea. I want to have the courage like them both.
