Life in Korea. Day 2: I love Seoul!

So today I got up at 7AM, and after I took a bath I realized that everybody in this floor has gone to cafeteria for breakfast. Ah~ I got up late! hehe. But then our LO Sora Eonni asked me to go to the cafeteria together and yeah we went there. And oh~ it was my first ever breakfast in South Korea, hee~

And after I ate my breakfast, I went again to my room. And take more pictures of it. It is such a nice dorm. I really love it. And my roommate too a Thailand student came this morning. :)

 But even though  there IS smart TV, I can not watch anything, haha. well at least internet is good. 
After spending some more time on put things to the right place, as my stuffs were all over the place, and again doing internet, oh lunch time! so I went to the cafeteria, but oops! I brought the wrong coupon, so I had to go back to my room. Ah~ tiring since my dorm and the cafeteria is a bit far and our dorm is located in the top of this hill. yeah! BUT! the scenery of the Academy of Korean Studies is not a joke. take a look!

And so, it was a nice trip back to my room. hehehe. But there is one thing, today rain poured all the time from morning through the night. owh~
Good thing is I got close to a friend really fast. Her name is MOnika, she's from Poland and she really wanted to buy a boots to Seoul and I proposed to go there, despite the rain hahaha. We ended waiting for bus 9003 to Seoul Station. We were 6 people, me, Monika Eonni, Thu, Tao, Hoa, and Trang. It was really a very first experience to take a bus to Seoul from the AKS. Heart beats faster...

We decided to go to Myungdong! yohoo~ it's the place that on the drama You're Beautiful and also on Jung Yonghwa and Seohyun's We Got Married scenes. Ah! I feel like I was dreaming. I finally step my feet there!

Because today is Sunday so many people were shopping in Myungdong. Owh! despite the rain... mini skirts wearing Korean females are everywhere. hehe~
And so, to find Monika Eonni's boot we went around and around trying to find a really cheap one. And we got it! yohoo~

And don't forget delicious street foods~ yummy!


So today was fun! I even bought some cute keychains. But the funny thing was, me and Monika Eonni lost our 4 friends, in Myungdong. WHOA! jinjja! because too many people. and they 4 were always behind us, I don't know is it because they walk slow or me and Monika Eonni walk too fast (?) hehe. So me and eonni ended took the bus on the bus stop in Jungang-Sinema. To Seongnam-si. Wishing that our 4 friends comeback to dorm safely~ and they did!Thank God!

Hi hi hi~ Korea is just fabulous for me! especially today hee~ And today's weather was really really nice ^^ This morning was not like the other morning that we start with Korean Language class but we went outside to a Studio and we learnt Taekwondo! HA! So we went to a place called Seoul Seoksa Taekwondo where the athletes and people who love Taekwondo are exercising here everyday. In this place there are not only adult athletes but children who are willing to learn Taekwondo are also welcomed. So we saw lots of kids today, not the usual one, but the really good ones in Taekwondo hahaha. We learnt Taekwondo for 2 hours. I was having so much fun!! ah!! How I got my F-2 (Long Term Residence) VISA in South Korea! Though I was already exposed to other countries and cultures from such a young age, I never thought that someday I would be a resident - a long term resident - as they said it, in a foreign country as I live and work there. Yes, I am an Indonesian citizen and a resident in South Korea. The Sudden Planning

I don't know how, but just because I have just finished tetralogy of The Rainbow Troops by Andrea Hirata and also the first book of Negeri 5 Menara trilogy by Ahmad Fuadi, it's growing more on me. The Dream. My Dream that has been here in my brain and heart for so long. I want to get a full scholarship to study in South Korea. I want to have the courage like them both.
